Nailsea Silver Mounted Scent Bottle, Stevens & Williams, Stourbridge, 1894
This perfume bottle is hand blown and presents a narrow neck on bulbed vessel and pulled loop decoration in white and yellow. The silver collar mount is by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd and is marked for Birmingham, 1894.
 
Fun fact: until 2023, this bottle was on long term loan to the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge

  • The perfume bottle is in very good, near excellent condition. Unfortunately, the lid and the chain that linked the collar to the top are now missing. If you have any questions, or you require additional photos with the vase in natural light, do not hesitate to contact us.
